Max Peltz is an Emmy-nominated film and television producer. Max produced the Netflix Original, “How to Rob a Bank”. The film successfully opened in the Netflix Global Top 10 in its first two weeks of release. Prior to this, Max wrote and produced “In the Cold Dark Night”, a feature documentary that aired on ABC, Hulu and Sky Documentaries, and later on BET+ as a four-part series. Max then produced “Bad Hombres” for Showtime and the cybersecurity series “hacker:HUNTER”, viewed by over 17 million people.
Most recently, Max is an Executive Producer on the film "Balomania", which had its World Premiere at 2024 CPH:DOX to wide acclaim and has been nominated for several awards including ‘Best Documentary Feature’ at the 2025 Robert Awards. Max is also a Co-Executive Producer on the three-part docuseries, "Fugitive: The Mystery of the Crypto Queen", released on Channel 4 in July 2024.
Max started his career involved in producing feature documentaries for BBC Storyville and going on to work with renowned commissioning editor, Nick Fraser, at his Docsville venture.
